The government has today announced that they want to make New Zealand attractive to “digital nomads”.
Effective from 27th January 2025, all visitor visa holders may undertake REMOTE work in New Zealand. This will apply to tourists, people visiting their family, as well as partners and guardians of longer-term visitor-visas, working for a foreign employer.
